adequate, not stellar
crowded buffet limited view
the staff was mostly nice and helpfull.
The room i booked, a junior suite, did not have the view i expected. also, the breakfast buffet was very crowded. The wait for a table some mornings was nearly half an hour and the quality of the food during the peak times was not the highest.

slightly underwhelming stay
basic minibar dim lighting
the location was quite convenient, close to shopping areas and public transport.
the room amenities seemed a bit basic for what i expected. the minibar was not well-stocked, and the selection was pretty uninspired (i think they could add a bit more variety). also, i found the lighting in the room a bit dim, especially in the evenings. it made reading difficult (i nearly tripped over a table!).

afternoon tea great area excellent band security guard disdainful look bad treatment
the afternoon tea was amazing. there were loads of choices that i appreciate it. the evening meal with dancers and band was excellent too. it sits in a great area, i had never stayed there before and its next to green park.
i must express my disappointment with the treatment. a security guard stopped me and scrutinized me with a disdainful look, this. he told me i cannot enter without a reservation, i don't think that was ok. it.

large suite park view double sinks abrupt guard unwelcoming tone appearance judgment
the suite was large it was well furnished. the bedroom had views of the park. the bathroom included double sinks and toiletries.
the security guard stopped me abruptly. his tone was unwelcoming. i felt judged based on appearance.
